Strategy & Transactions Transaction Analytics Manager

The Opportunity
As a Transaction Analytics Manager you will lead teams in delivering business financial and commercial insights for clients involved in M&A transactions corporate strategy and private equity. Youll leverage your expertise in data extraction transformation modeling visualization and data analysis technologies to help clients make datadriven decisions. This role offers the chance to combine technical skills with business acumen working with advanced tools like Alteryx SQL Python Excel and Power BI. You will also mentor junior team members and present findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data analytics projects to advise clients on financial and commercial issues M&A transactions and value creation opportunities for corporate clients and private equity portfolio companies.
• Guide teams in executing descriptive and predictive analytics transforming data into actionable insights.
• Contribute to practice development and business growth through client meetings presentations and new business pursuits.
• Support the career development of junior staff through mentorship.

To Qualify

• Bachelors degree in Business Analytics Data Science Finance Economics or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience (or a graduate degree with 4 years of experience).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data wrangling transformation and analysis (both descriptive and predictive).
• Proficiency in relational databases and data models.
• Experience in diverse industries (e.g. TMT Healthcare Retail) and functional areas (e.g. corporate finance supply chain).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to varied audiences.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.

Ideally Youll Also Have

• Masters degree CPA or CFA preferred.
• M&A experience and financial statement analysis.
• Experience with advanced analytical methods (e.g. statistical pricing studies customer lifetime value customer retention).
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx Power BI Python SQL).
• Interest in working with alternative data to analyze competitive positioning.
