Job Description
JFS at Home is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in providing specialized services built on integrity compassion social responsibility and humanitarian values.Join our growing home care agency and become a part of our caring community!
Individuals must have experience in
- Providing assistance with personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents.
- Provides client with reminders totakeprescribed medication.
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc. Assist with planning and preparing meals and help with physical therapy exercises
- Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Transfers of patients to commode or toilet bed to mobility assistance equipment
- Perform light housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary
- Records and reports activities related to personal care responsibilities as required.
- Responds promptly to client requests
- Documents all client related activities in a timely manner.
- Participates in performance improvement in services.
- Reacts to change productively and performs other jobrelated tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform jobrelated duties
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day must have Bodily Injury Liability coverage in auto insurance policy.
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends (Flexibility with 4 hour shifts preferred)
- Prior experience in a healthcare hospital or inhome care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver CNA License and 24 hours current CEUs
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
