Job Description

TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is partnering with a renowned firm of chartered accountants in Maidstone to recruit an Accountancy Practice Client Manager.

This role offers a blend of tax and accounts work within a general practice setting alongside management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager eager to join a growing team with excellent career prospects and broad client exposure. The firm serves clients across various industries sectors and sizes providing a diverse and engaging workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalise accounts for limited companies sole traders and partnerships.
  • Produce and finalise management accounts.
  • Prepare and complete personal tax computations and returns.
  • Advise clients on financial and taxation matters.
  • Support VAT payroll and CIS processes as needed.
  • Review work and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Partially or fully qualified ACA ACCA AAT or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in bookkeeping accounts preparation and uptodate with recent regulatory and technical changes.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with QuickBooks Xero and Sage. Strong proficiency in Excel Word and other accounting software.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to selforganise prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both clients and colleagues.
