What Youll Do
- Manage compound management workflows including compound registration weighing of compounds compound stock solution reformatting curate compound inventories liquidliquid plate transfers and archive storage.
- Work closely with crossfunctional chemistry ADME pharmacology and biology teams to coordinate compound management activities to delivery of assayready plates in support of rapid optimization cycles and supporting HTS campaigns.
- Maintain consumable supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations of workflows.
- Interface with CROs and vendors for external compound inventories purchasable compound orders and shipments.
- Manage instrument vendor relationships continuously advancing and integrating novel workflows and assist in troubleshooting the automation and software platforms.
- Keep abreast of contemporary compound management practices and provide business case arguments to adopt new technologies.
What You Bring...
- Minimum bachelors degree required in a scientific discipline with 10 years of relevant laboratory experience of which a minimum of 23 years of compound management experience.
- Ability to work independently and crossfunctionally with team members in chemistry ADME and in vitro pharmacology.
- Extensive experience in operating and troubleshooting compound management automation platforms liquid handling acoustic dispensation and periphery devices (i.e. tube sorting 2D barcode scanning) is highly desired.
- Experience with sample storage systems and integrations with liquid handlers/automation systems also highly desired.
- Liquid handling scripting automated workflow scheduling and software programming are major pluses.
- Exceptional organization skills and detail orientated approach to planning and executing at the bench.
- Documented sustained performance and demonstrated technical proficiency scientific creativity independent thought and ability to effectively collaborate with others add to project strategy & deliverables and participate in decisionmaking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
