A wellestablished midsized law firm in Toronto is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk to join their dynamic team. A hybrid position with three days inoffice and great opportunities for growth.
In this position you will collaborate closely with one of the firms senior partners. The ideal candidate is a detailoriented and proactive professional with strong organizational skills a commitment to meeting deadlines and the ability to manage files efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate transactions
- Reviewing and analyzing title searches and related inquiries
- Preparing reporting letters including closing and registration documents.
- Drafting and responding to title requisition letters.
- Setting uptitle insurance for property owners and lenders.
- Attending to closings and Teraview registration
- Ability to correspond with clients and government officials in a professionalmanner
- Strong knowledge of procedures statutes rules and regulations applicable to commercial real estatelaw
What You Bring:
- Law Clerk Certificate
- 6 yearsof experience in a Clerk role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities efficiently
- Proficiency in MS Office Teraview Lawyer Done Dealand PC Law
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
