Under the direction of the Manager and under the supervision of therapists the Rehabilitation Assistant as an active member of the patient care team works with individuals families and groups to help educate and promote movement occupation and function. Working collaboratively with their team the Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for the safe and proficient delivery of interventions that have been assigned by the therapists for patients coping with limitations in movement and daily function. The Rehabilitation Assistant also checks and cleans equipment maintains treatment and storage areas and may order necessary supplies. The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
