Job Description
Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking dedicated Physician Assistants to provide highquality compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. TAUC is the leading urgent care provider in the Greater St. Louis community delivering care since 2008. What Youll Do:
- Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
- Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
- Procedures to include EKG and Xray interpretation abscess incision and drainage infection management reduction of dislocations splinting of fractures laceration repair IV hydration and medication administration
- Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
- Communicate test results followup care and treatment plans
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Physicians
- Work with an energetic highlytrained support team including many shifts with a scribe
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Physician Assistant
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
- Experience with reading diagnostics studies including Xrays and EKGs
- 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine urgent care or ambulatory care highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
