Repair Centre/Imaging engineerJob Description:
This role is designed for an individual with a handson approach to imaging and repairing laptops PCs and printers within our workshop facility. The successful candidate will utilize the information gathered to image the units according to user requirements. This challenging and demanding role requires analytical and logical thought processes to ensure accurate and prompt resolution. Additionally the role involves leading various customer imaging projects to profile and personalize customer devices to meet their specific requirements
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating with all support teams such as Logistics and Resource Schedulers to ensure SLAs can be fulfilled
- Communicating with field service engineers to offer assistance as and when required
- Assist in managing customer deployment scripts and automation tools for efficient imaging processes
- Image and personalise customers machines to meet customer requirements
- Stay informed about the latest customer images and tools to improve imaging processes
- Keeping all imaging documentation and guides up to date
- Support all internal technical repair and imaging queries e.g. CMD
- Provide support with hardware repairs during busy periods
- Support small and major projects from a technical perspective when requested.
What we are looking for:
- Logical thought process to quickly determine remedial action
- Experience in imaging engineering or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills and techniques (verbal and written)
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Basic operational knowledge of MS Office products
- Works well as part of a team
- Ambition to develop skills
- Driving License desirable
