Position Highlights

The Josephine County Circuit Court in Grants Pass Oregon is hiring a Business Process Analyst (Analyst 1.

In this role you will provide analysis and research assistance to our courts leadership and administrative teams by reviewing court programs policies and procedures related to data entry facilities juries court security supplemental local court rules business continuity plans and more. You will help develop and implement diverse projects in support of the courts internal operations. You will also help review proposed legislation and updated statewide policies to determine how upcoming changes will impact our court.

Collaboration is a key part of this position. You will work closely with a program coordinator to update drug program resource materials and to process set asides. As a member of statewide court groups you will review existing court forms and update them as needed as well as keep abreast of changes to rules and records retention policies. You will coordinate with external agencies to improve interagency communications and the shared workflow. You will also provide technical assistance to judges court management and staff by coordinating IT help desk tickets developing computerrelated training manuals and resources and training new hires on scanning procedures software and other computerrelated topics. You will provide these training sessions at the individual level and in group settings such as small classrooms and large demonstrations.

Part of your time will be spent partnering with the Trial Court Administrator on special projects. You will conduct studies analyze current programs and projects develop recommendations and practical solutions and implement improvements. You will also attend meetings and maintain meeting minutes as directed.

Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
