Dyania Health is a venturebacked company founded in 2019 which has developed Synapsis AI an endtoend system that combines a medically preadapted LLM with a physiciandriven algorithmic reasoning engine to understand and assess clinical characteristics in electronic medical records. Synapsis AI is designed for installation within the healthcare systems computing environment or on healthcare system private clouds to automate the process of manual chart review of EMRs without removing any data from the healthcare system. Synapsis AI completes prescreening on both unstructured and structured patient data and deploys medical logic with temporal sensitivity to match dynamically changing patient characteristics with complex clinical trial criteria during the exact window of time that a given EMR may qualify for study protocol criteria.
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer (DevOps) to join our dynamic team. This position will be instrumental in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of Synapsis AI within healthcare systems onpremise computing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux system administration infrastructure automation and deployment processes within private and hybrid cloud infrastructures. This is a hybrid position based out of our subsidiary based out of Athens Greece and will possibly require travel to our headquarters in Jersey City New Jersey.
Individuals will be required to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines tailored for onpremise and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage configure and optimize Linuxbased systems to ensure high availability security and performance.
- Develop and maintain infrastructureascode (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployments in private and hybrid cloud environments.
- Engage with client IT departments to assess technical environments and ensure seamless integration with existing onpremise infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues provide technical guidance and ensure a high level of client satisfaction during system integrations.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning monitoring and incident response reducing manual interventions and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Deploy manage and optimize containerized applications (Docker Singularity) in Linuxbased environments.
- Implement security best practices including hardening Linux systems managing firewall configurations and enforcing compliance with industry standards.
- Design and maintain robust logging monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify system issues.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux Systems Engineering with a focus on onpremise and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong handson experience with Linuxbased infrastructure including Ubuntu CentOS or RHEL.
- Expertise in automation and configuration management using Ansible Terraform or similar tools.
- Handson experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab or similar) for onpremise deployments.
- Solid understanding of networking firewalls VPNs and security protocols for both onpremise and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience managing containerized applications using Docker or Singularity in Linux environments.
- Strong skills in Bash scripting and Python to automate system tasks and optimize performance.
- Experience with system monitoring observability and log aggregation tools (e.g. ELK Stack Prometheus or Nagios).
- Ability to work directly with clients to troubleshoot and support deployments in varied technical environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator) AWS/Azure DevOps certifications.
- Experience with highavailability architectures and performance tuning in onpremise environments.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001 NIST CIS or SOC 2 and compliance best practices.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure AWS or OpenStack).
- Familiarity with database management in Linuxbased environments (PostgreSQL MySQL or similar).
