The Role
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced social workers to join our small team of four social workers one senior social worker two referral coordinators and a team manager.
The Front Door responds to all contacts making swift decisions on directions that will best help our children and families whether that be childrens social care or family wellbeing/early help. This requires workers to be able to respond to quickly changing circumstances as well as able to develop good working partnerships with our colleagues in Health Education and the Police.
As an Authority we are committed to using a Trauma Informed approach.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Valid driving licence and own transport or be able to provide alternative suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
