The Opportunity

As a founding fullstack engineer at Seekeasy youll work with our CTO and founding team to shape the products that get into the hands of our users on the web and mobile. Youll use the latest advancements in AI including computer vision language speech and generative ML models work in a flexible development environment that gives you the tools and the freedom to experiment and work fast and shape the foundations of our products and the way that we build them.

• Shape the user experience: As part of the founding engineering team your decisions will help set the user experience direction of Seekeasys products.

What youll do

• Build our consumer applications and integrations: Work with UX designers and product managers to design implement and maintain Seekeasy applications APIs and thirdparty integrations using efficient testable and maintainable code.

• Shape our development processes: Maintain and improve our developer tooling build and deployment systems to ensure reliable production releases.

• Ensure our products are working: Ensure high service availability by implementing logging monitoring and alerting for production services. Lead outage incident responses identify and troubleshoot application issues and optimize applications for efficiency and scalability.

• Lead and mentor: Guide the growth of our engineering team as we scale. Your experience will be invaluable in nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation.

Your qualifications

• Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML CSS Node.JS and declarative frontend UI frameworks such as React.

• Proficiency in Python Git and RESTful API design and implementation.

• Proficiency in user interface design and translating mockups into working products.

• Experience with build systems such as Bazel Pants Buck or Please.

• Passionate about AI and its potential to transform user experiences and have experience with integrating ML models and APIs.

• A problemsolver who thrives in the ambiguity and fast pace of startup environments.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• A seasoned fullstack engineer with 4 years of experience and a track record of building scalable systems.

• Live in the San Francisco Bay area and can commute to our office in San Francisco.

• Previous startup experience is a plus even if you have not worked at a startup before we want you to understand the expectations.
