Role Overview

As a Founding Engineer at Dealops youll be instrumental in building our core deal pricing product and shaping the future of sales optimization. Youll work directly with our founding team to create innovative solutions that help companies maximize their revenue potential.

Youll drive critical initiatives including:

• Building our core deal pricing engine that combines machine learning and rulebased systems to generate custom pricing and packaging recommendations

• Creating and running A/B testing infrastructure for pricing experiments that have consistently driven doubledigit revenue increases for our customers

• Developing natural languagepowered customerfacing tools that enable infinite customization of the Dealops platform and reduce customer onboarding time by 10x

• Owning and driving the development of entire product features or suites

• Helping shape our product roadmap and technical architecture as we build toward becoming an endtoend sales optimization solution

What youll do

Youll help define our technical culture and have outsized impact on our product direction. From day one youll be deeply involved in:

• Champion customer needs and drive product direction

• Endtoend project planning and

• Technical decisionmaking and architecture

As our team grows youll have opportunities to expand your impact through engineering management or technical leadership roles mentoring new team members and driving major technical initiatives.

About you

Must haves

• 3 years of software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases

• Track record of building and launching earlystage products in collaboration with designers

• Experience working on complex products with high reliability and accuracy requirements

Nice to haves

• Frontend experience with Tailwind

• Backend development experience with Express or similar frameworks

• Machine learning experience

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI tooling

• Previous technical leadership experience
