BIOCROSSROADS OVERVIEW:
BioCrossroads vision is that Indiana will be recognized as the global leader in Life Sciences and Healthcare. An initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) BioCrossroads is focused on achieving its vision through a mission to accelerate promote and grow Indianas Life Sciences and Healthcare economy and to help maximize Indianas potential to positively impact human health by leading innovative collaborations between industry academic and public sector partners.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Senior Director of Innovation to develop and execute strategies that advance Indianas life sciences sector and support BioCrossroads mission to drive growth and innovation. Indianas life sciences industry contributes $95 billion annually to the state economy and employs 67000 Hoosiers at more than 3100 establishments making it one of the nations toptier states for life sciences.
As a Regional Tech Hub designated through Heartland BioWorks Indiana is poised to address key challenges and opportunities within the sector. Heartland BioWorks BioLaunch is focused on fostering an innovation ecosystem that supports biomanufacturing scales promising life sciences discoveries and aligns investments technology development and commercialization. This role will be instrumental in helping BioCrossroads and its partners realize these goals. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in identifying highpotential research and emerging trends and challenges that will help ensure Indiana remains at the forefront of life sciences innovation. They will evaluate data coordinate databases and oversee programs that align with Indianas economic and innovation goals.
This position requires collaboration with stakeholders across public private philanthropic nonprofit and academic sectors to develop strategies and execute initiatives that positively impact human health and strengthen Indianas life sciences ecosystem.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and inventory research conducted within the states four R1 universities and medical school to identify the most promising inventions for clinical translation
Performing indepth analysis of large and complex data sets using advanced analytical tools to identify patterns trends and correlations
Transforming data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations to support business strategy and decisionmaking
Developing comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate insights to senior management and stakeholders
Assist in tracking maintaining and analyzing key metrics to ensure translational database effectiveness
Assist in identifying and pairing new wouldbe academic scientific and business leaders for life sciences startup company formation
Provide operational assistance as needed for BioCrossroads support of BioLaunch and BioCAN components of BioWorks
Assist and attend regular events that elevate and promote Indianas life science innovation community
Staying updated on industry trends emerging technologies and analytical methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Data Analytics Business or related field required.
Expertise in data analysis techniques like statistical modeling regression analysis and data visualization
Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL statistical packages)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant life sciences healthcare or research experience required.
Familiarity with IP strategy commercialization and emerging trends.
Exceptional written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong project management skills exhibiting excellent planning coordination and organizational skills and ability to lead project deliverables through to completion.
Proactive problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Experience working both independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
Ability to participate in inclusive discussions among a diverse set of stakeholders.
Ability to take initiative multitask and work well under pressure.
Work with an agile mindset demonstrating flexibility and willingness to adapt to shifting priorities demands and timelines.
Keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
