Job Description
Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)
What you will be doing
In this role the ISSE will be responsible to support numerous challenging missioncritical projects that make a direct impact on the nations security and intelligence mission. This program deploys the information assurance team including ISSEs to other government programs in support of assessing and securing their systems so that they can operate. This creates an opportunity to work on a variety of programs and with many different teams while using standardized criteria training and protocols to ensure consistency for the customer. The program has specialized talents in the cybersecurity field and offers many resources to gain program and career level knowledge and expand growth opportunities.
The PROGRAM incorporates all levels of system and cybersecurity encompassing the customers security authorization process to include information analysis integration security risk management resulting in an approved Information Systems Security Authorization as applied through the RMF.
This is a growing highprofile program where we are looking for top talent to support our client.
Specific skills needed to perform well in this role:

Salary Range: $200000 $225000
The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not however a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather salary will be set based on experience geographic location contractual requirements and may fall outside of this range.

Specific skills needed to perform well in this role:
- Ability to support our client in the design development implementation and/or integration of IA architectures systems or system components
- Provide expertise and assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure including program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity
- Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements
- Apply knowledge of IA policy procedures and workforce structure to design develop and implement secure networking computing and enclave environments
- Must work effectively independently and with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Punctuality must show up and perform
- Years Experience / Degree:
- Fourteen years of IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) experience to include recent experience within the last five years with DefenseinDepth principles and technology including access/control authorization identification and authentication Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) network and enterprise security architecture
- Two years of experience applying security risks assessment methodology to system development including threat model development vulnerability assessments and resulting security risk analysis
- Knowledge of Federal NS A IC and DoD Information Security regulations publications and policy
- IASAE Level III Certification (CISSPISSEP OR CISSPISSAP)
