Position Overview
The Assistant Pool Manager will assist in overseeing daily pool operations ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all patrons and supporting the Pool Manager in maintaining a clean welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise lifeguards and other pool staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and policies.
- Monitor pool activities to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring proper staffing levels.
- Enforce facility rules and address any patron concerns or incidents professionally and promptly.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment cleanliness and water quality in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to lifeguards and other pool personnel.
- Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Pool Manager.
- Assist with administrative tasks including inventory management and recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Current lifeguard CPR First Aid and AED certifications required.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lifeguard role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety regulations is a plus.
