JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will assist the SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) in providing a variety of services to assist the SLP in managing caseloads. The SLPA works in conjunction with the assigned SLP(s) to execute components of a speech language program as specified in treatment plans developed by the SLP.

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to stand for long periods and to climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a 193day calendar position. Hours are 7.5 hours per day with specific daily hours dependent on the assignment in high school middle school and/or elementary school building.
Travel:Travel is dependent on the assignment within Bucks County and is reimbursed in accordance with IRS guidelines and rates.
Full-Time
