Job Description

Role: Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Yateley
Job Type: FullTime Permanent
Salary: 40000 per annum

The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to our dedicated team at a specialist school for children aged 318 years. Our students present with a variety of diagnoses including Sensory Processing Disorder Autistic Spectrum Disorder Dyspraxia Dyslexia and Speech and Language delay/disorders. We are committed to providing holistic childcentred care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will conduct 1:1 treatment session within the school setting. You will develop and facilitate group sessions to support childrens social communication needs. You will manage a specialist clinical workload autonomously. You will create and implement child/familycentred treatment plans and therapy goals utilizing a range of treatment techniques. You will participate in service development and monitor standards of practice. You will communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and manage risk.

What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:

  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance principles and audit processes.
  • Valid drivers license.
