Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver and Direct Support Staff
Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Caregivers and Direct Support Staff. In this role you will provide essential assistance to individuals in their daily living activities and foster an environment of dignity respect and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities including but not limited to bathing personal hygiene routines dressing and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders to ensure individuals stay on track with their health plans.
- Support with meal preparation to meet dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with instrumental daily activities such as:
- Medication pickup.
- Grocery shopping and meal planning.
- Running errands as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience empathy and the ability to build a trusting relationship.
- Experience in caregiveingor similar roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary.
Work Environment:
This role requires travel to individuals homes and occasional outings to complete errands or attend appointments.
