Job Description
We are seeking a fulltime licensed and experienced Pharmacy Technician for immediate hire in our fastpaced familyowned and operated independent pharmacy in Waycross GA.
Our ideal candidate is an expert in filling retail prescriptions typing processing prescriptions claims billing insurance and passionate about patient care.
REQUIRED:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferably working in a Retail Independent Pharmacy setting.
Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with State BOP
Strong understanding of HIPAA state federal and local rules and regulations in a pharmacy
Basic PC competency: 30 WPM Microsoft Office Email etc.
Excellent written verbal and phone communication skills
Must have own transportation and ability to drive (commute).
Good work ethic trustworthy neatness politeness and a strong customer service etiquette
OPTIONAL:
Inventory Management Accountability
Pioneer Rx software experience is preferred
Medication Synchronization experience is a plus
Adherence Packaging
Hours: MonFri 9:00 am 6:00 pm Sat: 9am 1pm (one to two Saturdays per month). NO NIGHTS OR SUNDAYS!
