Scientist Synthetics Separations
What you will do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will help discover the medicines of tomorrow through the development and use of chromatographic methods for the analysis and purification of small and hybrid (peptides siRNA oligonucleotides mRNA) molecules.
Utilizing a diverse set of Analytical tools and technologies such as (but not limited to) RPLC SFC chromatography modeling advanced analytical and preparativescale purification. The successful candidate is also expected to assist in research efforts directed at improving process efficiencies expanding the range of assays and applications building stateoftheart analytical capabilities and improving technologies and infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented group of scientists using stateoftheart equipment in a newly redesigned laboratory
Chromatographic method development and in silico modeling
Chiral and achiral purifications across a wide range of scales (g 100 g)
Process improvement to create more efficient operation
What we expect of you

PhD with 0 years experience
OR
Masters degree with 2 years relevant experience
OR
Bachelors degree with 4 years of relevant experience
A Bachelors or Masterss degree in organic chemistry or analytical chemistry. 6 years of relevant experience with chromatographic analysis and/or purification of small molecules in a pharmaceutical R&D environment.
Exposure to SFC LC/MS mass directed purification analytical/preparative SFC knowledge of other analytical techniques (NMR MS)
Chromatography handson experience
Creative problemsolving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Authored scientific publications.
Interest in building new analytical capabilities to enable analysis and purification of complex modalities.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
