THE POSITION
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hospital staff across various departments.
- Monitor helpdesk systems logging and tracking all support requests and incidents.
- Prioritise and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Work collaboratively with other IT support team members to resolve complex issues.
- Follow hospital IT policies procedures and security protocols to ensure compliance.
THE PERSON
- Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role with a strong technical foundation.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and tracking tools used for managing IT requests.
- Able to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to nontechnical users.
- Proficiency in helpdesk systems scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
