Electrical Drafter
THE OPPORTUNITYThe Griffin Groupe is searching for electrician drafters to join our clients rapidlygrowing company! If you are experienced have time in the field on vessels and are ready to advance your career further into a lead role in the Marine Industry we have an opportunity just for you. Our client company services large container ships fishing vessels and factory trawlers. They are also a UL508A Certified Industrial Control Panel Shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create electrical drawings using AUTOCAD or other software from design information provided by the field engineers
- Create hook up diagrams for electrical equipment
- Participate in design process creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems
- Preparing technical documents and bill of materials
- Assist in testing electrical equipment build in the shop
- Design custom control panels
- College or Trade school preferred
- 25 years CAD
- Previous experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Lawful Permanent Resident of US (Green Card) or Employment Permit
- Valid Driver License
- TWIC card (Can be acquired after employment started)
