Job Description
- Casual Permanent Part Time and Full Time positions available with rosters that have a mix of morning & afternoon shifts
- Duncraig Location
- Salary Packaging (up to $18550 and Leave Loading 17 per annum payable on annual leave
Rocky Bay is looking for people who would like to take the next step or challenge in their career at Rocky Bay and join our Supported Accommodation team for our new house Iolanthe Drive in Duncraig. We would love people to join our team who want to work with our customers get to know them and support them to live the life they choose.
We are looking for:
- People who are available MondaySunday (mornings & afternoons) for our supported accommodation home
- People who can demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive and personcentered environment
- Previous experience working with people with a range of disabilities
- People who can adapt to working in a persons home and contribute to a positive environment
Day in the life of a support worker:
- Support our customers in all aspects of daily life including; maintaining their home facilitating and attending outings and medical appointments personal hygiene and support with daily activities whilst always demonstrating dignity and respect for our customers
- Communicate and engage with the customer in a relevant and meaningful way
- Transport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using Rocky Bay vehicles
- Ensure all supports and services provided are accurately documented and accounted for through timesheets case notes incident reporting etc
