Job Description

Overview

An excellent opportunity to join a top ranked and growing Construction & Engineering team.

Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Director with material experience of transactional/noncontentious construction work. Experience also in contentious work would be preferred but not essential.

In particular we are looking for:

  • Director A solicitor with at least 10 years experience in transactional/noncontentious construction law who has experience of supervising others working as a team and leading on matters independently with minimal supervision from Partners.
  • Senior Associate (NonContentious) A specialist in transactional construction law with a minimum of 4 years experience.

The lawyers in our Construction & Engineering team cover the whole spectrum of the construction industry from traditional developments acting for developers contractors specialist subcontractors and consultants through to complex projects in areas such as energy and infrastructure. Youll get exposure to a number of growing and emerging sectors for example student accommodation or PRS and large scale litigation and arbitration andadjudication(including enforcement).

Your clients are likely to be listed companies local authorities and educational institutions banks developers contractors specialist subcontractors and consultants based nationally and internationally.
