Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Seasonal Pool Manager to oversee the daily operations of Lake Monticello Homeowners Association Pool. The Pool Manager will ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons manage lifeguard staff maintain facility standards and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily pool operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of lifeguards ensuring proper staffing levels and schedules.
- Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment water quality and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies including administering first aid or CPR if necessary.
- Organize and oversee special events swim lessons or community programs as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries feedback and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate records including attendance incident reports and maintenance logs.
- Train mentor and evaluate lifeguard staff to promote skill development and team cohesion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Current certifications in CPO License Lifeguarding CPR/AED and First Aid (required).
- Previous experience in pool management or lifeguarding (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance water chemistry and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
