Business Overview
BlackRocks Risk & Quantitative Analysis (RQA) group provides independent oversight of BlackRocks fiduciary and enterprise risks. RQAs mission is to advance the firms risk management practices and to deliver independent risk expertise and constructive challenge to drive better business and investment outcomes. RQAs risk managers play a meaningful role in BlackRocks investment process using quantitative analysis and a multidisciplinary skillset to tackle realworld problems and provide tangible solutions in the investment management process.

What the RQA group at BlackRock has:
A team of outstanding risk managers partnering with portfolio management teams to oversee our clients portfolios.
Global colleagues with subject matter expertise in investing macroeconomics financial modeling and strategy.
What you have:
A degree in a quantitative field e.g. mathematics statistics economics physics engineering.
Experience in a risk analytics or investmentfocused role in the financial services industry.
An ability to communicate influence & engage with stakeholders.
Apassion for applying quantitative techniques to realworld problems and being a student of the financial markets.
A basic understanding of portfolio risk management including risk estimation methodologies and limitations.
An understanding of coding in Python would be viewed positively.
A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
Multi Asset and Solutions Risk Management Team
BlackRocks Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) provides investment strategies and solutions that employ sophisticated asset allocation risk management and extensive research to deliver specific outcomes tailored to client needs delivered through a range of pooled vehicles model portfolios and customized mandates across a variety of asset classes.
The team partners with BlackRocks Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) to deliver independent risk oversight risk advice and constructive challenge.
The team provides quantitative analysis to assist with portfolio construction performance measurement product design and investor engagement.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRocks hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
