Springhill Suites Moore is looking for an energetic General Manager for our quaint 83 Suite hotel in Moore OK. Must have experience 2 years supervisory or management experience. Hotel
Hotel general manager will oversee hotel operations help guests feel comfortable and ensure that they have all their needs met. Be responsible for all departments in the hotel and help find hire and retain staff. Act as a representative or brand ambassador for the hotel functioning to promote the hotel to its target market such as families on vacation or business professionals traveling for work. General manager will have a variety of responsibilities and specialized tasks relating to the operations of a hotel including:
Organize meetings with hotel department heads to address changes to policies and assess progress.
Ensure all hotel staff comply with operational and service standards in addition to hotel policies and procedures.
Train and develop hotel staff to achieve their career goals and become more successful in their roles.
Identify strategic goals for the hotel and communicating the importance of achieving those goals to staff.
Helping resolve guest complaints and booking and billing issues.
Recruiting and hiring new hotel staff to fill vacant positions.
Greeting guests and inspecting their rooms to ensure theyre clean and satisfactory.
Maintaining the hotels physical properties and arranging for repairs if necessary.
Ensuring that the hotel meets all health safety and security laws and regulations.
Planning and implementing hotel marketing campaigns to attract new guests.
Organizing and planning all events on the hotels property.
Accounting procedures as necessary.
Pay is based on experience.
