Job Description
Title:
Electrical Engineering InternKBR is looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the Clearfield UT office.
Job Description
- Responsible for study design specification reverse engineering and services related to electrical and electronic systems including power supplies generators motors power systems performance and control cabling and wiring circuit card assemblies specialized electromechanical devices etc.
- Under direct supervision able to perform conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.
- Devises and suggests new approaches to problems encountered. Conducts work requiring independent evaluation selection and adaptation of engineering techniques procedures and criteria.
- Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice and complex features such as conflicting design requirements unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior of an ABET accredited institution working on a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of circuit designs schematic analysis signal processing embedded systems testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience and knowledge of critical thinking like analyzing complex problems and interpreting relevant data.
- Proficiency in basic programming languages like C or C and relevant software like MATLAB AutoCad Electrical LTspice Multisim or Altium
Other Details
- Full time 80 on site remote 20 (Hybrid)
- Candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills; must be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions; develop accurate written materials to communicate information clearly and concisely.
