Our client is a rapidly growing SME that boasts one of the most comprehensive and intuitive integrated solutions to the access control security and surveillance industry. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to spearhead their growth and build a strong partner network in Thailand and the rest of Southeast Asia.
This is a rare opportunity to penetrate a new market (Thailand) for the company with no internal sales competition and an enterprise solution that is on a completely different level from what is being offered currently.
It is also worth mentioning that this role will likely be groomed into the Country Manager. For this reason we are examining candidates at all levels of seniority and have intentionally left compensation open.
Please note that while the priority for this search is in Bangkok Thailand it is also open to remote candidates from anywhere in SEA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with distributors system integrators and key decisionmakers within the CCTV and security industry across Southeast Asia.
- Develop tailored sales strategies for different customer segments including retail corporate security and government sectors.
- Conduct indepth product demonstrations technical training sessions and handson workshops for partners. Provide ongoing guidance for system integration troubleshooting and optimal product utilization to ensure high partner satisfaction and adoption rates.
- Continuously monitor market trends regulatory changes and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and risks. Deliver datadriven insights to inform business decisions and product development roadmaps.
- Serve as the primary liaison for partners ensuring consistent communication addressing concerns and facilitating solutions. Develop incentive programs marketing collaborations and cobranding initiatives to strengthen partner commitment.
- Work closely with overseas sales marketing and technical support teams to align business objectives. Provide feedback from the field to refine product positioning pricing strategies and customer engagement tactics.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 710 years of experience in business development channel sales or technical sales within the CCTV security or surveillance industry.
- Candidates who maintain an exceptional network of resellers and system integrators (SI) are strongly strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the security and surveillance market including IP cameras VMS platforms access control systems and cloudbased security solutions.
- Strong grasp of CCTV hardware networking configurations and security software solutions. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by nontechnical stakeholders.
- Fluent or nearfluent in English. Fluent in one or more SEA languages including the local language.
- Bachelors degree required.
