The selected candidate will engage in a comprehensive oneyear training program that combines formal education with practical onthejob experience to acquire the skills to preform responsibilities on their own. You will be under direct supervision by the supervisor when preforming all tasks.
As a Water Quality Specialist Trainee you will conduct inspections and investigations to effectively regulate individuals establishments and operators involved in earth disturbance activities affecting watercourses wetlands and floodplains. Your role is crucial in ensuring the protection and quality of our water resources.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
A bachelors degree in environmental science environmental engineering environmental health geology biology ecology or a closely related field; or
Four years of technical experience in environmental science environmental engineering environmental health geology biology ecology or a closely related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
