What youll do:
As the newest member of our team youll work 30 to 40 hours weekly and perform comprehensive eye examinations recommend eyewear and determine contact lens prescriptionsthe practice is open Monday through Saturday. Youll enjoy caring for patients in a modernized practice with accessto behindthescenes functional technology including Optomap (retinal scanning) OCT (retinal scanning) FDT (visual field testing) Pentacam (advanced scanning of corneal topography) EnChroma (color vision technology) andautorefractorsplus highlytrained staff to support you throughout examinations.

You enjoy caring for a diverse patient population and youre an excellent listener who genuinely cares about patients. The preferred qualifications for this position include specialty contact lens fittings and surgical comanagement for LASIK. Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
13 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management leadership and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude selfdiscipline and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise dust etc.
