Eligibility Requirements
- Our internship program is remote based; however the intern must be in the United States.
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degreegranting program at an accredited college or university during the internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Available to work full time 40 hours/week) for the entire program (June 9th August 29th).
- Required to undergo a preemployment background check.
Working closely with the department the Intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Research and identify target prospects for Somos Commercial Products (using various tools: Salesforce ZoomInfo LinkedIn etc).
- Manage and coordinate outbound communications to prospects.
- Qualify prospects through preset criteria.
- Manage and direct responses to appropriate sales team for further qualification.
- Audit records update dashboards and reports in Salesforce for pipeline tracking and sales reporting
Major Initiatives
- Lead Generation for Somos Commercial Products
- Market validation research for potential opportunities
- Audit maintain and create customer reports in CRM (Salesforce)
- Intern capstone project
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently meet deadlines and manage multidimensional projects.
- Team oriented attitude that no job is too big or too small.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Salesforce.
- Desktop research to qualify prospects that meet target criteria and identify points of contact.
- Copy email for outbound communications.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills (if any)
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Experience with lead generation web services (e.g. Zoom Info)
