Job Description
Position: Trading Service Associate
Department: Wealth Management Marketing
Overview:
As part of the dynamic trade team the Trading Service Associate acts as a liaison between advisors internal staff custodians and external technology vendors to facilitate various trade related tasks. Responsibilities include confirming of all transitions taking trade related calls/emails resolving trade restrictions and conducting platform training. If you are interested in learning about all aspects of the trading process this job could be perfect for you!
What youll do:
- Receive review and follow up on pending trade tickets from advisors
- Buy and sell equities through order management system
- Assist with pretrade cost basis evaluations
- Assist with daily exception reports
- Analyze trends of failed trades or money movements; identify missing or incorrect instructions or system limitations
Experience youll bring:
- 13 years of experience in banking financial services or accounting
- Positive attitude while providing extraordinary customer service to Advisors Custodians and internal staff
- Strong organizational skills: capacity to manage a heavy workload while navigating a variety of tasks in an everchanging environment
Bonus Points:
- 1 year of Brokerage/RIA industry experience
- Series 65 license (ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment)
- Previous experience working with Orion
