Rate: 38.50 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the busy team at a Barnet based Looked after Children team.
What will your responsibilities be
You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. Additionally you will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager. Actively participating in the performance management system including supervision PAR team meetings and service reviews will be part of your role. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures and develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations such as secondments job rotation and shadowing. Contributing to information management processes and supporting social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained will also be expected. Child Protection Social Workers need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with children and families especially multidisciplinary working integration and whole family approaches.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration be eligible to work in the UK hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have postqualified experience. You should also have a full UK driving licence.
