Short Description
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for Neuro Intensive Care Unit Nocturnist.
Applicant should be boardcertified.
Experienced candidates required (ICU Neurosurgery Inpatient Neurology Trauma Surgery Hospitalist and/or Emergency Medicine) to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort.
The Advance Practice Provider will manage neurocritical care patients augmenting existing provider compliment of 2 Neurointensivists along with rotational Residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The Advance Practice Provider will provide coverage overnights weekends and holidays. full time night shift.
The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.
Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Education Requirements
MASTERS is required Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
License/Certification Requirements
Board certification Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant;Active New Jersey License; American Heart AssociationACLS/BLS andCDS/DEA
Special Requirements
Schedule Hours/Days: Part time 20 hours weekly; Sunday Saturday
