What Youll Do:

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work closely with experienced engineers and product teams to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. Youll assist in the implementation of new features and enhancements gaining handson experience while supporting various engineering projects.

Your day to day would include:

• Collaborating with senior engineers to assist in the design and implementation of software features from concept to deployment
• Participating in code reviews and maintain code quality by following best practices
• Contributing to the development of web solutions and applications under the guidance of lead engineers
• Engaging in problemsolving discussions to refine requirements and improve system functionality
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the teams projects and objectives
• Supporting the team in integrating new technologies and tools that enhance productivity
• Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving software defects providing effective solutions
• Participating in agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives
• Documenting processes code changes and system functionalities for team reference and knowledge sharing

What Youll Need:

• 13 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript
• Basic understanding of objectoriented design principles and software development methodologies
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Exposure to web development frameworks and tools (e.g. Spring React or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and frameworks such as OpenAI GPT GitHub Copilot and Cursor to enhance software development efficiency
• Ability to apply AIdriven solutions for coding debugging and problemsolving tasks

The estimated base salary range for this role is $/year in addition to an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held business needs geographic market and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
