Job Description
Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design fabrication and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers dryoff and cure ovens environmental rooms conveyance systems and controls to specific requirements.
Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled General Electrical Technician that will be responsible for the assembly of electrical components into a control panel.
General Electrical Technician Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex wiring layouts on electric units
- Set up and testing of systems
- Preparation of panels for shipment
- Communicating problems and quality control issues to coworkers and managers
- Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Operating forklift pallet jack or other equipment to load and ship products
General Electrical Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience with 480VAC 120VAC 24VDC wiring
- Basic understanding of system electrical prints
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Prepping electrical control cabinets (i.e. unwrapping cutting installing components)
- Prepping assemblies mechanically and electrically
- Bending EMT conduit
- General use of hand tools
- Able to troubleshoot equipment
- Willing to travel to change parts out on completed systems
