Were looking for an IT Help Desk Analyst to join our IT team based in Vancouver BC. This individual will report to the Help Desk Team Lead.

Job Overview: The Help Desk Analyst leads support communication and escalation for all technology issues reported by end users manages hardware assignments endpoint management and system/application access including licensing. Further this role is a key subject matter expert for a wide array of processes systems or applications and is a key player in supporting other teams drive advancement of technology within Purdys.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Diagnose triage and provide firstlevel support on all technology issues reported by end users in accordance with the established service level agreement both inside and outside of regular business hours.
  • Manage the hardware lifecycle process for the purpose of proactive annual refresh activities Break/fix support and special projects (such as shop openings/renovations) including purchasing configuring and installing hardware.
  • Create assign maintain and remove user/email accounts system access and licensing across all company issued systems and applications in accordance with onboarding and offboarding policies.
  • Provide ownership over all aspects of endpoint management including building/maintaining images deploying new software or software upgrades and controlling system and application policies.
  • Regularly supports Infrastructure Project Workgroup or Departmental Teams by actively participating in planning implementation testing and supporting new technology initiatives. Acts as a subject matter expert for specific processes systems or applications as designated by the IT Leadership Team.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Have a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Have 2 or more years of experience supporting IT services
  • Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows macOS iOS and Android operating systems
  • Have experience in troubleshooting and supporting desktops laptops printers network hardware and peripherals
  • Have experience with ticketing systems and remote access support tools
  • Have experience with Microsoft Administration Tools managing cloudbased products such as Office 365 Sophos Adobe Creative Cloud and endpoint management solutions such as Workspace One
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (VPN DNS WAN LAN RDP etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be oncall outside of regular business hours on a rotating basis
  • Must possess a valid BC drivers license and have access to a vehicle for travel between locations.
