About the Opportunity
If you have experience in clinical research and want to enjoy a dynamic supportive team Hematology Research is the place for you. Reporting to the Research Manager the Research Assistant contributes to Hematology Research by assisting with study administration providing general administrative support and maintaining study data. In this position you will support ongoing studies by:
- Assisting in collecting entering and managing clinical and research data in compliance with study protocols
- Ensuring adherence to institutional and regulatory guidelines including REB submissions and updates
- Liaising with study team members clinical staff and external collaborators to facilitate research activities
- Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Currently enrolled in postsecondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field required
- Completed postsecondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field preferred
- Two years research related experience preferred
- TCPS2: CORE Certification considered an asset
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Access Excel PowerPoint) email and internet
- Effective communication problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to draft format and edit office correspondence
- Well developed organizational time management and daily planning skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Skills and experience in promoting learning cultures that nurture equity diversity and inclusivity with a focus on intersectional values analysis and actions clinical humility and the responsible use of power and privilege.
- Previous experience in a health care/research setting is an asset

Compensation and Benefits
$22.34 $27.92 Hourly
$43564 $54455 Annually
