What Youll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician your main job will be to keep our lab equipment and building running smoothly. Youll fix things perform regular maintenance and make sure everything is safe and working properly.

Heres what youll be doing:

• Fix and maintain equipment like HVAC systems plumbing and electrical tools.
• Perform regular maintenance to keep equipment in good shape.
• Work with engineers and lab managers to solve problems quickly.
• Use tools like hand tools and ladders to make repairs.
• Keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Help with other tasks as needed.

What You Need to Succeed:

Were looking for someone who enjoys handson work and knows how to fix things. Heres what were looking for:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience with HVAC plumbing electrical systems or fixing machines.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. If youve taken technical or trade school classes thats even better! Relevant associates degrees for a Maintenance Technician role include Electrical Engineering Technology Mechanical Engineering Technology HVAC Technology Industrial Maintenance Technology Building Maintenance Technology Welding Technology Plumbing Technology Automation and Robotics Technology Facilities Management Industrial Technology Environmental Technology and Engineering Technology all of which provide valuable skills in maintaining and repairing equipment systems and facilities.
• Skills:
  • Youre good with tools and know how to use them safely.
  • You can work independently and solve problems.
  • Youre organized and can keep records of what youve done.
• Physical Strength: You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and move equipment when needed.
• Drivers License: Youll need a valid license and a clean driving record.
