Middle Division Spanish Teacher
The Berkeley Preparatory School Department of World Languages is seeking a dedicated energetic professional individual to teach Spanish grades 68. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of his or her role in a vertically integrated curriculum excellent cultural knowledge and the ability to apply studentcentered methods in a challenging invigorating and growthoriented atmosphere. Berkeley Preparatory Schools World Language curriculum is ACTFLaligned and our planning and assessment practices follow ACTFL recommendations. Collaborative skills are a must. Candidates must show a strong willingness to receive feedback regularly and grow professionally. An understanding of the value of technology in the classroom and an ability to apply technology when it is most advantageous are assumed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment is available August 2025 and is a fulltime salary exempt position and eligible for full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience certification attainment and the national independent school and college markets.
