Pay Range: $44.10 to $55.10 per hour.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Programmer Analyst I role is to define design develop test analyze and maintain new and existing software applications and packaged software based on business requirements involving the various systems utilized at Foster Farms to support the Assigned Areas. The Programmer Analyst I will also develop document and modify software specifications throughout the production software lifecycle. The Programmer Analyst I provides with direction resolution to common technical software issues. This includes analytical evaluation programming and configuration skills including the ability to design program and configure moderate software solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for decision making associated with assigned programming configuration testing and implementation work. This position is required to demonstrate the ability to learn skills related to programming configuration documentation testing and software design and implementation. The Programmer Analyst I will be expected to prioritize multiple tasks and support issues.
- Will provide design and implementation support for the ongoing projects within Assigned Areas. This may include requirement collection solution design and concept writing as working with SAP and nonSAP systems.
- Will provide primary end user support for the Assigned Areas systems. This includes:
- Troubleshooting diagnosis and resolution of end user problems.
- Performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions such as maintaining adjusting and manipulating interfaces and application configuration data where applicable.
- Contribute to ongoing system improvement efforts to include:
- Collecting requirements from business users developing and documenting implemented designs.
- Communicate effective designs writing technical specifications and coordinating development work with more senior analysts and/or programming staff building and configuring prototypes and prototype documentation.
- Communicate with and educate business users conduct unit testing and coordinate integration and user acceptance testing.
- Work with security team to ensure appropriate system authorization migrating to production.
- Prepare comprehensive and thorough design and training documentation train subject matter experts provide postimplementation support efforts.
- Will interact regularly with end users engaging in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues and providing continuous improvements to all aspects of design and processes.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 2 to 4 years) in computer science information systems software engineering or engineering required.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in Systems Development developing IT solutions to improve business processes.
- Minimum of 35 years of progressive responsibility in software analysis design development configuration and programming including experience using one or more of C C C# Visual Basic (VB) SQL VB ASP Core.
- Understanding and use of coding methods and best practices.
- Experience developing systems using relational database using SQL Server.
- Ability to perform assigned programming tasks and design software systems with guidance.
- Understanding of how to interview end users for insight on functionality problems or usability issues and needs.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and activities and project management principles.
- Ability to communicate clearly concisely and effectively with members of other IT and business teams both written and verbal.
- Understanding of developing and completing test cases and test scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical and user documentation for projects and enhancements.
- Demonstrated capability to work to a structured work plan with aggressive milestones and have strong problemsolving skills sound judgment critical thinking and decisionmaking ability.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 35 years of IT experience working in a manufacturing organization for a $1 billion organization.
- Broad consumer products industry experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with HTML JSON XML XSL and other B2B communication techniques and standards desired
- Ability to move up within the organization.
