Job Title: Information Security Auditor Bangalore (Onsite)
Job Type: FullTime. Permanent
Location: Bangalore (Onsite)
Experience: 2 to 3years
We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Information Security Auditor. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build a career in auditing compliance and risk management within the field of information security. The successful candidate will work closely with senior auditors and consultants to assess security controls practices and documentation to ensure compliance with standards/ regulatory requirements identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior auditors and consultants to perform information security audits with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 SOC 2 GDPR NIST and other relevant frameworks
Review and assess the effectiveness of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
Document audit findings prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions
Support clients in remediation efforts to address audit nonconformities
Participate readiness assessments to help clients prepare for formal certification audits
Verify the implementation of security controls policies and procedures as per the standard/regulatory/ compliance requirements
Assist in conducting internal audits and followup reviews to ensure compliance
Stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements industry best practices and cybersecurity threats
Requirements:
Bachelors degree (preferred)
23 years of experience in information security or a related field
Basic understanding of ISO 27001 SOC 2 NIST or other security frameworks
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and security controls
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new compliance requirements
