Job Title: Senior Information Security Auditor Bangalore (Onsite)
Job Type: FullTime. Permanent
Location: Bangalore (Onsite)
Experience: 4 to 8years
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Information Security Auditor. This role is ideal for individuals with 48 years of auditing and compliance experience who are looking to take on leadership responsibilities in assessing and improving clients security postures. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements ensure compliance with industry standards and provide expert guidance on risk management and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute information security audits and assessments for compliance with ISO 27001 SOC 2 PCI DSS NIST GDPR and other regulatory frameworks
Evaluate and enhance clients ISMS (Information Security Management System) to align with best practices
Analyze audit findings to identify systemic issues root causes and enterprisewide security implications
Author detailed audit reports with executive summaries for Clevel stakeholders and technical details for implementation teams
Advise and guide clients through remediation efforts to close compliance gaps
Serve as a subject matter expert on information security standards frameworks and emerging regulatory requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and executive management
Stay updated on evolving regulations threats and security trends to refine audit methodologies
Mentor junior auditors providing technical expertise and ensuring high quality audit
Requirements:
Bachelors degree (preferred)
4 8 years of experience in information security or a related field
Proven experience leading audit teams and managing security assessment & audits
Strong expertise in ISO 27001 NIST SOC 2 GDPR or similar frameworks
Professional certifications (CISA / CISSP / CRISC / ISO 27001 Lead Auditor etc.
Excellent communication skills for effectively presenting findings to executive management
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent engagements
