Job Title: Physician Urology

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Cottonwood AZ

Service Setting: Hospital

Coverage Type: Call Only

Coverage Period: Sept 22 Dec 29 2025

Clinical Shift Schedule: 3 days of clinic 1 day in OR 1 day of clinicbased procedures

OnCall Shift Schedule: 24 Hour On Call

Call Type: Beeper

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: 20 patients/day in clinic

Phone Consults: Yes (call coverage)

Case Mix: General Urology

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department: 99

EMR System: Cerner

Office Equipment Available: Disposable flexible stethoscopes

Support Staff Available: 1 PA MAs assigned no other MDs

Reason for Coverage: Locum coverage (full time preferred 2 weeks/month considered)

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 30 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate:

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

OR Surgeries: 3 4 per day

Inclinic vasectomy (optional)

Infant circumcision (optional)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active AZ license or IMLC; willing to license

Board: BC/BE in Urology

DEA: Required

Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications: Familiarity with Cerner EMR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clinicbased urologic care three days per week

Perform surgical procedures in OR one day per week

Conduct inclinic procedures one day per week

Be available for 24hour call coverage daily

Collaborate with support staff to deliver quality care
