AECOM is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Engineer & Deputy Manager to join our team. This position is based onsite out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced sustainable and passengerfriendly airports in the world.
Major Responsibilities:
Supports the Manager of Facilities Systems Engineering in leading and managing team efforts to achieve business objectives by:
Prioritizing and distributing team tasks while managing workload efficiently.
Overseeing and coordinating design and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant codes standards regulations and clientspecific requirements including the Airport Construction Code.
Ensuring timely completion of quality reviews for renovations alterations maintenance and new construction projects in alignment with program requirements.
Providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
Collaborating with and delivering highlevel customer service to the Planning & Engineering Capital Delivery and Commercial Activation teams as well as key stakeholders such as Operations and Maintenance teams.
Reviewing documenting and enhancing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and maximize team performance.
Developing pilot projects and funding proposals for innovative technologies and methodologies in control systems design and construction to reduce construction timelines and operational disruptions at Pearson Airport.
Coordinating SME assessments as well as reviewing and updating standards and specifications.
