Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior Network Engineer in NetcompanyIntrasoft
NetcompanyIntrasoft is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT Operations team in Athens. The ideal candidate will ensure that all network infrastructure complies with the highest industry and corporate standards and policies. This role involves conducting comprehensive preventative tasks implementing and maintaining advanced network security measures ensuring rigorous security compliance and driving the design planning and implementation of future IT projects.
As a Senior Network Engineer you will:
- Architect install configure and manage complex network and networksecurity equipment including highperformance switches nextgeneration firewalls and enterprisegrade routers.
- Conduct indepth root cause analysis of complex network device and servicerelated incidents providing expertlevel troubleshooting and resolution.
- Oversee and fulfill advanced Service Desk requests while providing guidance to junior team members.
- Perform advanced network administration tasks proactive maintenance and generate detailed analytical reporting.
- Lead the preparation review and maintenance of comprehensive network documentation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive IT initiatives and ensure optimal network performance and security.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced networking roles.
- Proven expertise in designing implementing and managing largescale enterprise networks.
- Deep knowledge of Fiber Optical networking and industrystandard protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF IPSec Spanning Tree MPLS).
- Proficiency in Linux and advanced Information Security practices.
- Fortinet NSE4 or higher and CISCO CCNP certifications.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English and Greek.
