What will you be doing
ALTEN is seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to join our dynamic space division supporting cuttingedge commercial programs. If youre passionate about RF testing electronics and emerging technologies this role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Conduct RF and electronics testing ensuring compliance with industry standards (ETSI FCC).
- Set up operate and troubleshoot RF test systems and laboratory instrumentation (Rohde & Schwarz Anritsu Speag).
- Support validation and verification processes for hightech space applications.
- Contribute to the development of test plans and standard operating procedures.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to deliver highprecision results.
- Ensure adherence to BPSS security clearance requirements for commercial programs.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Electronics Telecommunications or a related field.
- Strong background in RF Testing with handson experience in consumer product testing SAR and EMC.
- Familiarity with WiFi 6E) Bluetooth 5G NR Cotx NB (Narrow Band) and bandedge testing.
- Experience working in RF labs troubleshooting emerging technologies and setting up test facilities.
- Ability to analyze and compile testing data providing detailed reports on performance.
- Excellent problemsolving skills teamwork and a proactive approach to test challenges.
- Ability to work onsite in Portsmouth 5 days a week with AM/PM shift flexibility.
