A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant. In this seat you will be working with the production supply chain and floor teams . Need someone who is comfortable working with them as well as presenting information and findings to the executive team COO CFO. The company just implemented MS Dynamics 365 (D365 so previous experience is a hue plus but is not required. The ideal candidate possesses advanced Excel skills has relevant manufacturing/food and beverage industry experience and has used D365 or a similar ERP.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to provide insights into cost management.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance.
- Assist in budgeting processes by collecting data and providing accurate forecasts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of accounts.
- Manage accounts payable processes ensuring timely payments and accurate recordkeeping.
- Utilize Quicken for financial tracking and reporting purposes.
- Interpret financial reports to aid in strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather data necessary for comprehensive financial analysis.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools.
- Experience with budgeting processes and cash flow management.
- Familiarity with Quicken or similar accounting software.
- Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Associates Degree preferred. Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and data entry skills. Minimum of 2 years experience with Accounts Payable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy.
